Magic Journeys was the first 3D movie in a Disney Park created by Walt Disney Imagination. The film originally started at Epcot in 1982 and was moved into the Fantasyland Theater in the Magic Kingdom in 1986.[2] It continued to show there until 1993 when Legend of the Lion King took over the space.

[edit] Movie

Magic Journeys took you through the world through the eyes of a child. It started with children in a meadow and looking at the clouds until someone blew on a dandelion and the seeds became stars, then the sun. The next scene had kids flying a kite at the beach and the kite turned into a bird, fish, school of fish, flock of birds, Pegasus a horse and finally a merry-go-round. There was a brass ring next to the carousel which became the moon, a bat, witch, mask and the Sphinx. The music was produced by the Sherman Brothers and the movie directed by Murray Lerner.
